We had the pleasure of conducting a portrait session with Nancy at her beautiful home in Hong Kong's Mid-Levels. With her diverse interests in arts, architecture, and horse riding, we aimed to capture the essence of her personality and the unique environment she has created.

A Treasure Trove of Memories

Stepping into Nancy's home is like entering a gallery of memories. The flat is filled with antique furniture and unique pieces collected during her travels around the world, each item telling a story. From vibrant decor that adds color to the space to carefully curated artwork, Nancy's home is a reflection of her life experiences.

Originally from the East Coast of the US, Nancy has spent over half of her life overseas, including five years in Singapore, a transformative four years in Switzerland, and 23 enriching years in Hong Kong. This diverse background is beautifully showcased through her collection of meaningful items, which she prefers to be surrounded by.

Lush Greenery and Stunning Views

For the photoshoot, we ventured into her outdoor garden nearby, where lush greenery provided a serene backdrop. The natural light filtered through the leaves, enhancing the soft, inviting atmosphere. We also took full advantage of the breathtaking views from her balcony, which served as a stunning focal point during the session. The combination of Nancy’s vibrant personality and the beauty of her surroundings made for captivating photographs.

A Day with Furry Companions

Nancy's neighbour’s two large dogs joined us for part of the photoshoot, adding an extra layer of joy and warmth to the session. Their playful energy complemented the serene setting, showcasing Nancy’s love of animals. Capturing candid moments with the dogs not only highlighted her affectionate nature but also created authentic, heartwarming images that truly represent her lifestyle.

Throughout the session, we aimed to weave together Nancy's passions for art and architecture with the beauty of her home and garden. The antique furniture, unique decor, and vibrant greenery came together harmoniously, creating a visual narrative that reflects who Nancy is.
