TWGHs Tang Shiu Kin Primary School

ONLINE EXHIBITION

Introduction about school

TWGHs Tang Shiu Kin Primary School is located in On Ting Estate, a relatively low-income community in Tuen Mun. The school serves a diverse group of students and some of them come from underprivileged backgrounds. This socio-economic context impacts their access to educational resources, particularly in language learning. Our school hopes that the aforesaid programme will be able to enhance our students' abilities to master basic photography techniques and be able to write captions in English, thereby improving their English skills and self-confidence.

School Vision

The vision of the TWGHs Tang Shiu Kin Primary School is to provide comprehensive educational services that foster talent development in children. They aim to offer whole-person education in a nurturing environment, encouraging students to reach their potential as knowledgeable and responsible citizens. By instilling positive values and a strong moral foundation based on the motto "diligence, frugality, loyalty, and faithfulness," (勤、儉、忠、信)the school seeks to guide students toward a meaningful and impactful life.

What unique school facilities are and how they support the vision:

STEM Lab | Pet room for students to take care of the pets like buddy

The school's unique facilities, including a STEAM lab and a pet room, play a crucial role in supporting its vision. The STEAM lab fosters innovation and critical thinking, allowing students to engage in hands-on learning and explore scientific concepts. Meanwhile, the school’s pet room offers a nurturing environment where students can care for animals like rabbits and fish, promoting empathy and responsibility. Together, these facilities enhance whole-person education by encouraging creativity and collaboration through STEAM, and a sense of community through caring for animals, helping students develop the skills and values needed.
